If the creator is charging a set price per answer, you will be asked to submit your payment information with your question. Our payment processor (Stripe) then checks that your payment method is valid, but you are not charged at this time.

Depending on your payment method, you may see a pending charge. If you don't receive an answer within 24 hours, that pending charge is then cancelled.

Please note that it may take up to 7 days for your bank or credit card company to process.

When you receive an answer you have the option to accept it or ask a follow up question. When you accept your answer (or the follow ups) then your payment will be processed and your payment method will be charged.

Please note that when you receive an answer you only have 24 hours to ask a follow up. After 24 hours, if you don't ask a follow up question your answer is automatically accepted.
